Jason Archer took his first flight at age 8. He is a professional educator with over 20 years experience working in flight schools, planetariums, science centers and aviation museums. Jason holds a degree in Astrophysics and is currently the Planetarium Coordinator for the Glastonbury Planetarium, a state-of-the-art facility, where he creates and delivers astronomy/aerospace content. He is the Chief Flight Instructor for Berkshire Aviation at Great Barrington Airport (KGBR) in Great Barrington, MA. He also provides instruction at Brainard Airport (KHFD) in Hartford, CT where he trains for Sport, Private, Instrument, and Commercial, CFI, and CFII certificates; and specializes in complex and high performance endorsements as well as tailwheel instruction. 2021 - 2022 AOPA Distinguished Flight Instructor 2018 FAASTeam Rep of the Year BDL FSDO
